Hello i would like to submit a treehouse i built in 2012.
An ultra-modern treehouse in Lukovica, Slovenia. Photos, designed and shared by Rok Pezdirc.
This elevated timber cabin isn’t a treehouse, but it has all the benefits of one.
Unlike the modern treehouses that we posted this is not technically a treehouse, this elevated timber cabin has all the benefits of one. The existing trees group around and through the modern geometric structure, which features slanted walls that culminate into a large square window framing views down the hillside. Additional glazed rectangular openings, including a skylight, fill the interior with light and overlook different views of the surroundings. The windows can be opened outwards for natural ventilation and come with a set of blinds for privacy. So if you’re looking for a secluded getaway that’s close to nature, this is the perfect spot. Just be sure to watch your step on the way up – it’s a long way down!
The interior of the holiday cabin is just as cozy as the exterior, with its walls clad in untreated wood. A ladder leads up to a small outdoor deck that has a gap in the center, just big enough for a tree to grow through. Inside, the cabin serves as both a workspace and bedroom. There is a table, electrical outlets, shelving, and a chair, as well as storage units that can be joined together with cushions to form a bed. The bed can be expanded in size when needed by adding plywood surfaces that fit into the grooves in the walls. With its simple yet clever design, this holiday cabin is sure to provide a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Huh. A bedroom in the trees, sort of. Pretty, though.
Very nice but obviously not made for 24/7 living. I would think it’s more suitable as a writer’s retreat/artist studio or guesthouse….
no. just no.
What a fabulous tree house! My teenage son would love it!
