The name “Lola”came from the nickname the designer’s mother used to call her while growing up. She figured the name would be cute for the bus and would bring along memories with her mom in her travels.

Lexis, a 19 year old girl from Long Island, New York with a passion to travel and explore new places decided to convert this bus to a tiny home. She used to camp with her mother in their 1965 Serro Scotty Hilander travel trailer. It was so much fun to take it out to campsites and set up and enjoy the camping experience. It was her mother’s idea to start a bus conversion and the rest is history.

The bed is arranged so that during the day the owner can set up two couches and have maximum floor space available. During the evening the couches are made into a full size bed. The dining area was kept simple, yet sweet for dinners, including two chairs and a slate tiled, round table. The curtains in the dining room are split into two, so that while eating at the table anyone can look outdoors to watch nature at its best.

It’s definitely a bus that needs to be seen to be believed, and you can even call and take it for a test drive. It offers a full custom kitchen with a four-burner stove, propane pizza oven, and a double sink. There’s also a complete bathroom with a vanity and toilet, and a hot water heater keeps the outside shower warm.

This school bus conversion was made into reality by the couple Tyler and Lexi. The bus is a 2001 International with a 3800 DT466e. It has an automatic Allison 2000 transmission and had 128k miles on it when it was bought. The couple named it Winona. The interior was inspired from images from Pinterest, Youtube tutorials and with the help of few good friends.
