As you wander ever deeper, you can gaze up into the rugged, woodland branches, spying the winding stairs that lead up to treetop houses. Both have been handcrafted from gorgeous, local timbers and have eco-friendly builds and curved architecture. Solar panels and spring water provide the essentials and give these fanciful Pickwell Manor treehouse homes an added natural splendor.

Inside, they ooze with romance and whimsy, fusing plush home comforts with down-to-earth touches. Expect open-plan living areas with toasty wood burners, looking over bespoke modern kitchens and designer dining areas.

Sink into the deep leather sofas or throw open the balcony doors, dining alfresco beneath the stars and gazing at the twinkling, coastal shores. A plump king-size bed is waiting to lure you in and is joined by a contemporary en-suite with an artistic woodland scene. Look out for the imaginative tree stump tables and the soft earthy tones, along with the rustic, hand-carved stone and bare natural oak.

Hunker down in your treehouse or set out for adventure, crafting memories and planning you’re happily ever after. Walk to sandy Putsborough beach or the quaint village of Georgeham, exploring the pastoral, country scenes, and windswept beaches. Try surfing, fishing, or horse riding on the beach, cycling, climbing, or hiking in the hills.
