The Ohana – Two Tiny Houses Connected By A Sunroom

It’s not every day you come across two tiny houses connected by a sunroom and deck, but that’s exactly what the Ohana is. This intrepid family of four connected their two tiny homes with a central sun room and deck, creating an expansive living space that doubles as their backyard. From the inside, it looks like two separate houses. But step out onto the deck, and suddenly you have one big home to enjoy!

The two tiny houses are connected by a large, covered deck. The deck is where the family spends most of their time, and it’s easy to see why. With two hammocks, a dining table, and plenty of space to lounge around, it’s the perfect spot to relax or entertain guests. And when the weather is nice, the deck can be opened up to the sunroom, creating an even larger space.

The sunroom is where the family gets their daily dose of vitamin D. It’s also where they grow plants and tend to their garden. The sunroom is a bright and airy space, and it’s easy to see why the family loves spending time here.

The layout of the Ohana

At first glance, the floor plan may not make a lot of sense. However, upon further inspection, you can see how all of the pieces fit together. The sunroom is especially well-designed, as it allows for maximum natural light. Otherwise, the empty space is topped with glass, which helps to create an open and airy feel. Overall, the floor plan is well-thought-out and allows for a variety of different uses.

How two tiny houses connected by a sunroom can save you money and energy

If you’re looking for a creative way to save money on your utility bills, two tiny houses connected by a sunroom might be the solution for you. By connecting two small homes together, you can cut down on energy costs by sharing heating and cooling systems. Additionally, the sunroom can act as an extra living space that can be used for entertaining or simply relaxing.

What to consider when designing a sunroom addition

When you’re planning on adding a sunroom to your home, there are a few things you’ll need to take into consideration. First, you’ll need to decide on the size and shape of the sunroom. Then, you’ll need to choose the right location for the sunroom so that it gets plenty of sunlight. Finally, you’ll need to select the right materials for the sunroom so that it can withstand the elements.

How a sunroom can add value to your home

Not only can a sunroom save you money on your utility bills, but it can also add value to your home. If you’re planning on selling your home in the future, a sunroom can be a major selling point. Additionally, if you’re looking to rent out your home, a sunroom can make it more attractive to potential tenants.

How much does sunroom installation cost?

Although the cost of sunroom installation will vary depending on the size and materials used, you can expect to pay somewhere between $5,000 and $20,000. However, if you’re planning on do-it-yourself sunroom installation, you can find kits that start at around $1,500.

The Ohana is a unique abode that features two connected tiny houses. The left trailer houses the kitchen, which has a refrigerator, a small stove, and ample counter and cupboard space. The right trailer contains the bedroom and bathroom. Both trailers are fully equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay.

The left trailer of this home contains a charming and romantic master bedroom. The kids are on the other side of the sunroom, which affords the adults much more privacy than the usual “family in a tiny home” situation. That said, the plans show a trundle bed tucked beneath the queen-size bed. This is a versatile room that can be used as a private retreat or a cozy family space, depending on your needs.

Between the kitchen and the master bedroom, you’ll find the bathroom. It’s a generous space for a tiny house, and we’ve managed to squeeze in a bathtub. The tile work is lovely, don’t you think? And if you take a peek down the hallway, you’ll get a glimpse of the sunroom.

What Ohana means in Hawaiian is family, this includes extended family, friends, and neighbors as well. What a clever design this is and it would be completely welcoming for a crowd. Not bad for a tiny home or two. This just goes to show that when it comes to design, it’s not always about size but rather how you use the space you have. And this clever design does just that.

Tiny houses are great for moving because you can pack them up and take your family with you wherever the road leads. One such example is The Ohana, which was sold after being home to six people for over 20 years! I don’t know what happened but somewhere out there in tiny-house land…there’s an entire house built just as well if not better than many larger structures around our country today–with plenty of room inside its compact footprint for friends or pets too (or both!).
