awesome job.well thought out. very nice.
I’m always amazed how much you can pack into a 20′ house. Great layout and some really nice extra touches.
Love the TP holder on the door
I love the storage shed idea. The actual space for the toilet looks a little tight, but it’s hard to say for sure from photos. Nice job all around. Love the pop of color on the kitchen cabinets too.
I really like the blue kitchen cabinets and all of the storage space in this TH, especially the room for clothes in the bathroom (above the w/d). I also like the ledges everywhere . . . people need room to sit small things, and the ledges look like they work great for that. Good job!
I’m dismayed to see the use of the rolling doors so often in tiny houses. I’ve been in a tiny house with one and when my hostess went to use the bathroom, it was like I was right there in the room with her. I could hear EVERYTHING. It also means that precious wall space is unusable because it must be kept open so the door can slide open. You could have shelving there or even just coat hooks or something but it’s a no go due to those horrible doors!
Please, go the extra “mile” and do a pocket door. Those at least have a bit better sound (and odor) barrier and leave more space to be utilized.
Glad you’ll never visit my thow. So rude.
Not rude. Observant and TRUE. You really can hear everything.
Call it an inconvenient truth. The barn-style rolling door is not a good barrier, but they’re so popular now. Hard to retrofit a pocket door, so being made aware of your bathroom donor’s deficiency isn’t pleasant, I’m sure. But as a future TH resident, I’m grateful to know now.
Very nice use of the space, but the loft scares the hell out of me since it’s lacking a guardrail to prevent falls down to the ground floor. With hard-edged furniture and whatnot in such close proximity, the potential for broken bones is very real and probable. Not for me–I’m 58 years old and not as nimble or tough as I used to be–I don’t think it’s safe for young children as well.
I wish people would take regular pictures. These fishbowl pictures distort everything to the point where you can’t see dimensions.
I love this house. So very well thought out for the owners. Thanks for the close-ups, and then pulled back. It’s great to see such personal planning. Ignore the Negative Nellies. Let them design and build their own, with protection bars and soundproof bathrooms. lol The Nanny State doesn’t apply to tiny.
Adding a railing to the loft is an easy fix. Negotiating a loft in a full-body cast, not so much.
I LOVE you dog! I like the blue cabinets in your nice kitchen as well. I bet posts that include pets get more views.
