From the moment you arrive at Hoots Treehouse, you will be assured of a very warm welcome by host Lucinda. If you arrive in time for tea you can enjoy homemade cake, either on the spacious decking overlooking the pond, or snuggle up by the cozy wood-burner.

All the comforts you would expect are here including a TV and DVD player, and a blue-tooth Bose speaker.

The beautiful locally hand-crafted king-size bed sits neatly in the window recess with pure white Egyptian cotton and super soft rugs.

And, if you have children over six the loft has just enough room to squeeze two of them in with access via a ladder and hatch. The bathroom comes with a shower and heated towel rail with fluffy towels provided.

Far from the madding crowd and yet only 45 minutes south from the M25, Hoots Treehouse is a perfect base to explore the surrounding stunning Sussex countryside. Overlooking Lost Field and Hawksden Wood and backing onto woodland which is part of the splendid Wadhurst Deer Park, there are numerous walks to enjoy and sights to see by stepping out of the door. The beautiful village of Mayfield is a short walk away and the gardens of Sarah Raven, Great Dixter, Pashley Manor, Scotney Castle and Sissinghurst are each a brief drive away. Also nearby are Bodiam Castle, Batemans, Brighton, Tunbridge Wells and Glyndebourne.
