Great stairs and loft, attractive spacious design. But is there a fridge?
On second look, I see a window with a paper blind in back of the cooktop. I think this is a bad idea. In fact I have read that windows should not be in back of a cooktop or stove, especially if it is a working window. There should be a high back splash. Also I dont know why so many tiny houses dont bother with a range hood to take fumes out.
You guys are the first company I’ve seen really based in the NY/PA/NJ/DE area (maybe I haven’t been paying enough attention…? 🙂 I live in New Jersey and I am OBSESSED with tiny houses. As soon as I have the means I’m going to build my own and you guys are the first people I’m going to call. I’d make some tweaks to the model you have presented here (for example, in a vacation home the stairs are beautiful but from a practical standpoint they could have easily been turned into more storage) but I love the modern wood finish, the grey and yellow, and how big the loft is. I’m in Maryland and did find a company in Deep Creek Lake about 2 hrs from me in Western Maryland but thats the only one I havr found. I am obssessed too. If I can find a place to park one, I’m DOING IT :):)
Beautiful job! I have about 4 questions: (1) Did you draw up your own blueprints/houseplans or did you purchase them? (2) How much of a building expert do I need to be to be able to recreate something this beautiful? (3) About how much is the cost per sq. ft.? (4) About how much does it way and what type of vehicle do you intend to use to pull it, and; Finally, (5) Did you custom order the “L” sofa, buy it, or make it yourself?

excellent! I am uncertain about the toilett… is that a real flush toilet or some sort of composting stool.
it does need a frig and a hand rail for the stairs. I like these stairs better than a ladder and the construction allows for light to pass through.
I also like that about the stairs. I don’t think a handrail is needed as you can hold onto the loft corner as you’re going up and down.
I noticed the cupboard under the hob on the right wouldn’t actually open! It should have the hinge part of the way out to go beyond the drawer handles.
well spotted, I am not sure those drawers would open all the way either, little niggly things in a prototype that can be sorted 2nd time round. It would be a simple enough job to redo that one anyway. A very smart looking little house though.
Ok! There is actually a place to sit and eat! A nice sitting area! Looks comfy. Appears there is some storage for clothes. Good job! No fridge? What about the shower? Imagine if house were stretched to 24 ft. there would be ample space for a fridge and yes a vent for the stove. Paper curtain behind stove? May look good but hardly practical. Really love the great room and the loft storage.
It looks like the bathroom IS the shower. You can see soap/shampoo (not sure) at the top left of the bathroom shot.
Hi, This house looks great! I live close to Philadelphia and would love to stay at your tiny house once it’s up on Airbnb. I’m very interested in tiny houses but really need to experience one firsthand so I can see what it’s really like. Yours is the first house I’ve seen that is within driving distance of me.
Different. Excellent design, style and function. More emphasis on living room entertaining; sitting, laying down, lounging with the sectional… which offers storage and visitor sleeping accomodations. Bathroom area which takes up very little space -extremely efficient! Nice counter and cabinet space, with placement for refrigerator at the end (I see in comments people aren’t making that observation), raised up to make access easier, be it dorm size or 10, 14 cubic ft. The flip up / down work surface / table following where the refrigerator would sit -two cushioned stools that store underneath …or in front when flipped down. Stairs that do offer a railing (…went to web sit to look at more pictures / angles of shots / views), and designed as art or sculpture, which allow unobstructed light and creates the open space so needed in tiny houses / spaces. The storage we often see built in stairs, is provided quite sufficiently in the loft, it’s rectangular lines repeating details found in the art or sculpture of the stair design. Very clean-lined, open, light-filled, functional, design-detailed tiny home. Fabulously done!
Beautiful! Love the look of the house as well as the airiness inside. The cube shelve dividers on the loft are great and the layout feels though through and livable. I would live there!! Best of luck to you guys! 😀

Do you have a version that isn’t on wheels? I’d prefer it be connected to the ground, sewer, etc.; less likely to shake when you walk, and more a feeling of home than of RV. Love the loft but can you sit up when you’re up there? And the stairs look like an accident (or a lawsuit) waiting to happen. Also, is it insulated and how is it heated/cooled? But this would be great for people who live alone, for a week-end getaway place, or as a template for those who want to help the homeless. Love it!
