This is nice, airy looking home. Like the use of light wood that gives the interior warmth without weighing it down. Do wonder how one could get a king size mattress through the entry and then up into the loft area.
Buy a new foam king mattress, take the compressed cube into the loft, then cut the binding cords. Or you could bring up two twin mattesses and strap those together – there are kits for that.

Lack of windows??? In reviewing the pics it seems that every window contains a pic containing a window.
not entirely true……theres a side of the house that the only windows it has are in the loft therefore the loft floors block the light on the lower level all the shots are taken with the door wide open why? because when shut there wasnt enough light to take the pics Im guessing.
i agree, the windows are too small and could use a few more. The builders must have got a good deal on those small windows. I think that size window fits in the bathroom, but everywhere it makes the place look claustrophobic. Bathroom is nice, the lofts/catwalk is nice too- except for the windows. No living room, but considering its only 8 by 16, that is to be expected. I dont see a bathroom vent, not vent for cooking either. I cant believe folks are still leaving those out. nice storage/closet space, but with no door clothes are exposed to kitchen/bath fumes and light.
Lack of windows? Thats funny! If you add more windows you can’t have the interior layout. If there was more windows everyone would cry about not having any wall space! These comments seem claustrophobic to me!
Having one ladder for both lofts is ingenious. The problem I see is unfolding it when needed. I’d need a ladder to get to the ladder! It’s very much in the way if you leave it down.
BTW, there seems to be a massive shortage of electrical outlets!
Where is the living area for a few friends or watching television?

This is fantastic. Kitchen/bathroom/storage on the first floor. Then bedroom/sitting room up stairs. Looks great. Need to design a small home for people over 70.
