  1. I love this. It’s so homey. Colors are very nice too. I would make some minor “choice” changes – – like larger refrigerator/smaller cabinet above. Mirror door on upper part of cabinet over bathroom sink. I always like the idea of open cabinets in kitchen – but I know in my heart that I couldn’t keep them neat – so I’d probably opt for a door on the tall cabinet. I love the sleeping loft – might work out some concealment of hanging clothes. Overall – – looks very comfortable and inviting. Gr8 Job!

    • Composting toilets have two compartments: one compartment is for urine, which you just pour out once filled, and the other is for solids, which are mixed in with soil/composting material. After you conduct your #2 you turn the handle on the side of the unit, which mixes your newly added material into the composting material contained in the compartment. After a few days or so you can dump the contents into a bag and dispose of ixesSeems gross, but many people swear by it.

  2. Great storage space! I would personally enlarge the refrigerator – but that is just a personal choice. I LOVE the bathroom layout! So cleaver with tons of storage. The mirror is an easy fix – just get an extending mirror and attach it to the side wall. Pull out when needed – push back when not. But the above sink storage is genius!

I am in love with the color! It makes it so warm with a bit of a 50’s theme. As someone else stated – I would add open shelves in the kitchen. At the same time – it appears that this was built with the idea that it would be more mobile than an most of the tiny homes – and everything needs to be held in place for movement. I’m wondering if that is the reason.

Overall – this is a 10!! And you can drop it off at my house!!

  3. I like everything about this – except the bathroom. WAY too small. I’d expand it to include a proper sink with mirror, a REAL TOILET (no human litter box for me!) and a claw-foot tub with shower (yes that’s possible in a tiny home – I’ve seen it in others). PLUS an arched door instead of the square one, to increase the gypsy ambience. This is very nice otherwise, though.
