Staircase was a welcome addition
Love this!! Could the up stairs be made so you could actually stand upright? Love the stairs, but since I’m at the age where stairs, not a ladder, are a must I also do t want to be crawling around………other than that this is the most perfect one ive seen
Love it when these tiny houses find a way to do real stairs. Not everybody is physically able to do ladders. I’ve never understood why there is not more use of stairs that can drop down from the ceiling. I remember old attic stairs that used to do that. You opened a trap door, half the stairs dropped down, then the lower half folded out. That could be done w/o the door & just have the stairs suspended on pulleys.
Having lived in a small cabin with a loft bed for a number of years, I really really hate loft beds. They’re inconvenient when you’re healthy, and impossible when your sick. I don’t understand why all these tiny homes insist on using loft bedspaces. (Of course not all do, but it’s remarkably prevalent.)
My current design has loft space, but not for sleeping. It’s storage only.
I’m wondering what the rise dimension of these stairs are? The standard stair dimensions really don’t work for a tiny house, but I’m having trouble finding a comfortable rise that will still work in this particular setting. Thank you!
I could totally see myself living in this. I LOVE the stairs (hate ladders) and the storage under the stairs is great. Cute little bathroom, although if I were designing mine, I’d forgo the tub and include a nice walk-in shower. Lots of great light throughout the house. Really cute place.

I have looked at many tiny houses on-line and so far, this is one of my top 3 favorites. My only question is, what are those two low bump-out pieces sticking out from the living area walls? Whilst envisioning furniture in that space, I have a hard time seeing that furniture could not be flush with the wall. I’d probably end up hiring someone to build furnishings around the bump-outs, which I’d rather not do. Otherwise, amazing little house.
If you look back at the exterior photo of the tiny house, you can see the bump outs are for the wheels. I hope this helps you.

I think this is a great, bright design with excellent use of such a small space.
What about heating?
Questions…
1). Are these homes insulated so they could be lived in year round. And, if so….also..what kind of heat?
2. The windows…are these “cookie cutter” homes, or could some of the windows be omitted altogether?
3). What is the cost of the one shown?

if you build your own you can make one for well under $10,000 depending how creative you are and how much free or cheep materiels you can get. I have seen small bathroom/kitchen sinks that were cheep and some free. be resourceful .
Where’s the refrigerator and oven/stove??
I have been ignoring any house that does not have stairs. This is a big plus for me. Past the age of ladders.

Stairs and a tub are must haves for me. The kitchen was a bit too small, but for this size, great use of space. I would need one a tiny bit under 300 square ft. I want to use the loft(s) for storage and sleep downstairs. Very nice. I have two favorite exteriors, though I tend to favor heavy modern, or Frank Lloyd Wright type homes. But these are beautiful and well made. I would love to know the price!
