It can do if need be, however, the log burner is a portable Army Issue so you can take it outside. In such a small space, the log burner gets very hot very quickly so a bit overkill. The flue comes apart in 4 sections which can be stored inside the log burner when not in use. The Pixie is fully insulated and a small gas burner/hob is enough to heat the inside up if you need just a little bit or warmth.
What fun! Just love it. I, too, was worried about the lack of heat shield around the stove. (I made a mental note to myself to have it installed.) And I’ll second the question re the stack. All this needs is a small couch that converts into a bed and it’s good to hit the open roads. Great job; well done!
I would like one on a larger scale, static, and fitted out as a full home. I just *love* the exterior. Gorgeous.
