Wow. One of the nicest little home I’ve seen. The couch still looks a bit too narrow to be comfortable, but the bathroom door is stunning and simple. The colors are calm enough without looking cold. It’s cute. Thanks.
Superb. I wouldn’t change a thing.
This is not unattractive, but I think the color program needs a little more coherency.
What “this is not unattractive” that’s doesn’t make any sense
How pretty! The windows, the wood, it’s like a tiny Wyeth in there! At least until I moved in with my riot of bad-taste adornments 🙂 Seriously, it doesn’t insist on making decisions for the owner, but gives her a lovely frame for her own choices.
Went to your site, and saw that the price you’re asking right now, 25K, is quite reasonable, even without appliances. I do think you should add a few more photos, say of the wall opposite the kitchen cabinets, and facing the sofa-bed straight on, etc. How much room would there be for, say, a small range/oven, or a refrigerator with a decent size freezer? Closet? Is that space in the cabinets for a washer/dryer?
The only thing that would bother me is the gaps in your otherwise beautiful barn door; perhaps they photograph wider than they are IRL. If I were your buyer, I’d ask if you could fix that. And by the time I AM in the market as a real potential customer, you can bet I’ll be rather geriatric. You might consider a few provisions for older folks like loftless THs, and I’m still trying to convince builders to check out walk-in bathtubs, which don’t take up much space.
Overall, I just love it, will bookmark you, and best wishes for your long-term success. Congrats on the TV show, and may your business still be thriving by the time I’m buying.
Cote as a bug, but still not my style.
what happens when one sits up in bed at night?
Seriously, why would I buy this wooden box when I could buy an RV for less money, that is perfectly designed and outfitted, & genuinely road worthy? This question remains unanswered. The builders, unless they are building for themselves in their relatives back yards appear to have no knowledge of their market. They know nothing about the needs or desires of the people who would or could purchase their product. for example, What is the point in investing in a composting toilet! If you have no access to a sewer system or to a septic tank, then just use a bucket and a shovel. lots cheaper and keep in mind that there are very few people who will want to use a composing toilet.
I disagree! An RV is less versatile, being attached at the hip to its tractor, and conventional trailers are light-weight for easy transport, thus made from less durable and worse looking materials. Also, their upholstery is personally abhorrent to me in all but the most expensive models, and their layout is sub-optimal, usually being arranged in a narrow galley. If you watch a walkthrough of one of these houses, the lofts are usually tall enough to sit up in very comfortably, and indeed lofts are one of the big reasons I’m considering building a tiny house myself.
Plenty of tiny house people seem to like to drive theirs around, and I can see that being a problem, personally. The use case I’m most considering is as a temporary accommodation while building a (not too much) larger house. Afterwards it could be turned into a luxurious guest room while still maintaining its mobility for potential trips.
As far as the composting toilet is concerned though, I can definitely see your point. Bucket and sawdust isn’t nearly as smelly as people think. Having used both for a short period though, I can say there’s definitely less odor with a modern composting toilet. I think I’d just invest in a septic system.
It could use some loft cantilevers. Imagine having two sleepable lofts in a house that small!
Cute. Just had to giggle at the bathroom “door”. People can see in the cracks!
Love incredible tiny homes. They are a first rate company. Beautiful homes. My favorite is hummingbird and French quarter homes
