This one is really nice. Plenty of storage space. I really like that dining area with the built-in table and benches. And that bathroom (especially that bathtub!) is swoon-worthy. The only thing I don’t like is that microwave over the stove. I’m tall myself, but that looks like it would be really difficult (and dangerous) to reach.
I love this place. I want storage space as I am a crafter, this place is fabulous but probably way out of my price range!
What does the Ridgewood model cost. Saving for one exactly like this.
The lack of space between the stove and the built-in seat is really dangerous. Love the design except for that one detail.
Why did they put the microwave up so high. Unless the owners are very tall, it’s going to be a real stretch to
reach it for every use. I think it could have been placed in a better spot for more convenience.
This is the nicest tiny home I’ve seen yet. Beautiful!
Beautifully done but I have to say the range and microwave should be at the other end of the counter. Having a seat back up to the stove like that is asking for trouble.
In working to make THOW 100% legal for anyone in my Sierra foothill area, the one issue that comes up with bureaucrats is various safety issues they see lacking when looking at the majority of THOW lofts online.
And that is lofts that have NO safety railings to protect someone rolling out of bed and falling to the bottom area either badly hurt or dead. Or double handrails for steep steps to a loft area that can prevent someone from losing their balance and falling down off the stairs.
Have been told over and over by those who make the zoning laws that until the THOW community gets proactive on the issue of safety fewer zoning approvals will occur.
I love this. The flooring and the ceiling. The layout. The natural light everywhere. The storage. It’s gorgeous ! Definitely my kind of tiny house.
Is falling out of bed a common problem? I am an old lady and never in my life have I fallen out of bed. I would be more concerned of going over the edge in my waking hours and a low railing would not help that problem.
