Absolutely beautiful, stunning construction. However, something about it looks like it is meant to be a showcase, not a real house where someone might stay.
I love this house; how do you heat it? Only difference I would make is the bed would be a day bed or pull out couch. This is the cutest one I have seen yet.
I love it…but I REALLY think that the stainless steel just doesn’t work in that space with all the wood and lovely old things. It stood out like a big sore thumb.
the “kitchen” area is not functional. looks like there is a 36in sink cabinet in such a limited space. I love the stone exterior.
i think the area is ok. what kills it is all of that stainless steel. If they’d followed along the same lines with pine cabinets and perhaps some stone veneer splash back and stone bench tops, it would be a definite winner.
I agree about the kitchen. With the “organic” feel of all the stone and wood, a stainless steel kitchen seems way out of place. I have been told that stainless steel is very difficult to keep clean.
Enough kitchen for me. Lovely warm environment. Exterior very pleasing.
Love the hi tech stainless steel contrast to the woody finish – actually stone inside would have been great. Stainless steel counters, cupboards and splash back way to go for the best hygienic solution – most professional kitchens use ss as easy to clean bacteria and easiest to maintain in humid (cooking steam etc.) environment – only problem here – not sufficient run for real worktop space – but in such a small spot …..can’t have it all.
