The Alpine is a tiny cottage on a mountainside in San Diego, California. Definitely, a perfect place for those looking to spend a weekend in the wild. One of the Zen Tiny Homes models and slays the tiny house nation. The cottage sits on a ranch in rural North County, surrounded by orchards and vineyards.

While a loft-style bedroom sleeps two, a fold-out futon in the communal area can accommodate an additional visitor.

The airiness of the living room is just amazing! This house has so much sunlight and fresh air in it that it practically seems weightless.

Large windows ensure that plenty of San Diego sun is able to flood the interior of the home. From top to bottom, the environment is full of natural light.

The open stairs are worth a closer look because you will notice they differ from the more common design choice of doubling as a set of cabinets.

A closer look at the kitchen reveals two sink basins on the left, a cooktop and toaster under the window, and open counter on the right.

I am absolutely in love with that little window seat. It is probably my favorite feature of the house. It’d make a perfect reading nook. If you had a cat, that’d also be a perfect spot for your pet to curl up for a nice long afternoon nap.

The Alpine tiny house has a deck with a perfect view of San Diego. A great spot for spending morning coffee, or wine session at night.
