When you step inside, you’re presented with a carefully thought-out space that has comfy furnishings throughout.


The main living area is an open plan, with a nice sofa and a huge Smart TV with access to Netflix and BBC iPlayer among others, meaning movie nights are a joy. This cottage has the benefit of hyper-fast broadband so downloading films is no problem at all. The mobile phone signal is also excellent.

The open living space also has a modern, well-equipped kitchen that has all of the amenities you need to cook during your stay. Then, its kitchen has an oven suitable for warming ready meals, as well as a fridge, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, and a microwave. Guests can eat on the cute kitchen island, or outside on the deck when the weather is warmer.


Its gorgeous bedroom has a super-king four-poster bed that looks great and offers a fab night’s sleep.

You then have your own dress room, as well as an en suite shower room.


The bedroom also features big glass sliding doors, and large windows, that let plenty of natural light come pouring in, whilst offering you quick access to the hot tub. You’ll be pleased to know that The Cow Shed has underfloor heating throughout, controlled by individual thermostats in each room, so you can ensure it’s always the right temperature.

The Cow Shed is located in such a great spot. It sits on the western fringe of The Yorkshire Dales National Park and is only half an hour away from Lake Windermere. This means you have fantastic access to two of the UK’s most beautiful destinations that simply must be explored. There are some amazing landscapes and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, such as Arnside and Silverdale, and the Forest of Bowland. The picturesque nearby towns and villages also offer the finest in local produce, food and drink, as well as award-winning gastro-pubs and some cracking tourist attractions.
