There are many advantages to living in a shipping container home. For one, two-story shipping container homes are becoming increasingly popular, and shipping containers can be easily converted into homes. Additionally, shipping container homes are very strong and durable, able to withstand high winds and even earthquakes.
They’re also eco-friendly since they’re made out of recycled materials. And, lastly, they can be very stylish and modern-looking, if designed correctly. If you’re considering a shipping container home, weigh the pros and cons carefully to see if it’s the right fit for you.
If you’re considering a shipping container home, you’re not alone. In recent years, there’s been a growing trend of people choosing to live in these types of homes for a variety of reasons which is why in this post, we feature “The Helm” a spacious and beautiful two-story tiny home made out of shipping containers. The home is owned by Kenneth, who also owns CargoHome. The Helm is a popular rental in the state of Texas, U.S., and is known for its gorgeous design and spacious interior.

The Helm is a 40-foot long container on the bottom, and 20 feet tall. The walls are made from heavy gauge corrugated steel with cedar siding outside; it also has insulation in between paneled by pine shiplap wood trimming that covers up any gaps left open to let air flow through easily while still keeping out weather elements like water or dirt which can damage resources inside if they get into these structures during times of bad flooding

What’s not to love? The Helm offers space and style like no other tiny house on the market. For one, it can sleep up to six people – perfect for family getaways or vacation homes! It also has two bedrooms with fully custom bathrooms in each; an open kitchen/dining area that overlooks its private deck above (perfect if you want some peace while doing dishes); alongside outdoor lounge spaces right off our back porch where we eat everyday…

The Helm is an excellent example of how practical and stylish a tiny home can be. The home has a surrounding deck and a metal winding staircase connecting the two levels. This makes the home perfect for entertaining guests or simply enjoying the outdoors. Inside, the home is just as impressive with its large windows and open layout.
CargoHome offers the Helm as its most popular model, but this particular unit is not for sale. It’s being offered on Airbnb and came to be known as ‘the state’s most beautiful non-movable tiny’ when it bafflingly enough became apparent that there were people who wanted these houses after all! The company also sells them throughout America either standard models or customizable ones depending upon your budget – you just have to find someone eager enough with an appetite for downsizing at heart (and money).
Whether you’re looking for a unique vacation rental or simply want to admire some beautiful architecture, the Helm is definitely worth checking out.
