I liked the way you mixed up the vibrant paint colors to add a decorator touch to the interior. You have shown that small doesn’t have to be boring or expensive. The floor plan uses every square inch for a purpose. Well done guys!
Finally! Carpet on those dangerous stairs!!
Love your style! The color, the jolly dining room/bedroom (that would be my option; you guys be careful on that narrow stairway an think about a rope banister or something)~~it looks so livable and inviting. And nice to see a fully lived-in, furnished TH instead of just an empty model the builder wants to sell.
Have fun, and thanks for posting your place! I’m inspired. :0)
Thanks Kathy! Glad you like the house! No falls down the stairs yet, but lets be honest we spend a lot of time in the seating area… 🙂
Beautiful home. Smart use of space too
Can’t believe how big it looks inside and how everything fit!
I love the couch downstairs. Finally someone with actually lounging space for more then one person! I have been wondering why no one has done that. I didn’t think I could be the only one that wanted to do that!
Thanks Carol! We actually built the house around that feature! I can’t understand why other people don’t have a space like that!
nice i how did u get such a huge bed down stairs?
Beautiful t.h.o.w I Love it!!
I was wondering if this house is off grid? Do I see a gravity fed water system above the bathroom for the shower?
Hello Trisha,
The house is currently not off grid, however you are correct that there is a gravity fed water system above the bathroom. The electric is not currently on an off grid system nor is the heating or cooling. We hope to make this transition in the future when funds allow. Glad you like the house!
I love it!
Big respect for including Harry Potter 🙂 He is the king of tiny spaces after all!
like your huge bed down stairs was that the dinning room ?
Should have plastic boxes in the staircase drawers/cupboards, so dirty to leave it open with people coming up and down the stairs, cleaned clothes get dusty.
Since your home is mobile, I am curious to know what its weight is being that it’s on a two axle trailer. I am currently building a 150 ft. home on a two axle 20 foot long (10K lb. capacity) trailer which seems to be similar to yours in design. My intent is to modify the original design to have the dormers extend the full length of the house instead of just the sleep space. My concern is that I don’t want to exceed the trailer capacity (10K lbs.) with my “lofty” design modifications. Thanks for any feedback you’re willing to offer.
BTW, the designs I am using are the Cypress (Horizon 20) from Tumbleweed.
