The enchanting treehouse in Scotland sets a perfect scene for a unique celebration. This dreamy Scottish cottage overlooks an incredibly scenic loch and has hosted hundreds of weddings. The Lodge on Loch Goil is a restaurant with rooms and an event venue. It is nestled between the shores of Loch Goil and a majestic backdrop of mountain scenery.
The place is just over an hour’s drive from Glasgow. It can just as easily be reached by train or boat. This enchanting treehouse in Scotland has been part of the Lodge for 15 years.
Who Built This Treehouse?
The owner Iain Hopkins was looking for something different and unusual. Its objective is to attract fashion and advertising clients to use the venue as a location to shoot their brochures, magazines, and campaigns.
This has become a licensed marriage venue, so you can celebrate your marriage in a truly memorable location.

It is also a private dining setting, so you can enjoy mouth-watering food in an outstanding setting. Overlooking the loch, you can view the world from a different perspective.

The treehouse was used as a location from 2004 until the present day. There are hundreds of famous photographers who have photographed the Treehouse.

Just some of the companies that have held photoshoots here are British Vogue, Marie Claire, Elle, Arena, GQ, Esquire, Red, Country Living, Italian Vogue, Vogue Bambini, Brides, You & Your Wedding, Marks & Spencer, British Home Stores, Laura Ashley, Burberry, Boden, Toast, Racing Green, Top Shop and Burton.
Many of these publications and companies have now closed due to the growth in digital media. However, the treehouse at The Lodge on Loch Goil is still standing strong and proud looking over the hills and glens of Loch Goil.

Proposals have also become popular throughout the year. We have the old-fashioned romantic booking of an Indulgence Stay at The Lodge on Loch Goil, where the gentleman will go done on one knee and propose to the love of his life in the romantic surrounding of the treehouse followed by champagne and afternoon tea.
