This Weekender model is a shipping container tiny house with a rustic log cabin theme. It was built by Custom Container Living in Archie, Missouri.
Undoubtedly, this shipping container house has a cozy interior with its stained wood walls, floors, and cabinets.
Exterior Layout
It’s exterior of the house is wrapped in stained pine log siding and has two entry doors. Solar panels are available as part of an off-grid living kit.

Living Room
The living room has space for a couch and end tables. Along the short wall are upper cabinets.

- We will install an outlet on the wall where the TV will be mounted. The location chosen by customer. TV not provided
- Will install an HDMI cable from TV location to cabinet under steps
- Four LED can lights

Kitchen
Their impressive kitchen has a sink, built-in microwave, refrigerator, and a two-burner cooktop. Just right beside the sink is the small bathroom built using sliding doors.

- Cabinets: 5’ of birch lower and upper cabinets with mission style doors, stained or painted
- Sink: Stainless steel single compartment sink
- Upgrade: 1/3hp garbage disposal add $350.00
- Faucet: Single lever faucet with the pull-out sprayer (Chrome)
- Countertop: Formica top with a standard 4″ Formica backsplash, chosen by the customer
- Appliances:
- Built-in stainless steel microwave
- Two burner cooktop that will be able to sit on a countertop or be put away
- 10 cubic. ft. stainless steel refrigerator with top freezer (apartment size)
- Kitchen will have two LED can lights
Loft / Sleeping Area
Of course the loft, a place to stay cozy and relax. Can be accessed by storage stairs and large enough for a queen bed.
Moreover, it has a built-in open cubbies and room for an LCD TV in the loft.

- Loft: Large enough for Queen bed
- The ceiling height in the loft will be approx. 40”
- 84″ of built-in open cubbies on the end wall of the loft
- Loft floor will have matching vinyl as the main level
- Windows: Four 36”x 24” slider windows spaced evenly across the top of the front elevation

Storage Cabinets
Weekender was purposely designed to have open shelves built-in under steps. It includes a rod for hanging clothes and cubbies for folded clothes and shoes.
