Hello Tiny House Swoon, I designed and built my tiny home with my father. The exterior cedar siding was from trees on our property and was milled locally for this project. The table lowers to become a queen size bed.

A custom tiny house partially built with on-site milled lumber by Rachel Jones and her father in Tennessee.

  1. Overflowing with charm! I would just want a separate bed area vs. converting the table and benches every day. Still, you can’t beat the personality of this house!

  2. This is adorable. I agree with the comment about wanting a seperate bed area. But I’m lazy and don’t fancy the extra work, even if I would get used to it eventually! But other than that looking at this tiny home feels like you’ve stepped into someone’s idea of heaven.

  3. Well…isn’t this little beauty the definition of charm and elegance! I absolutely love this…and you have a closet! A closet…which so many “professional” designers seem to overlook as a necessary item.

You and your father did a wonderful job. I could snuggle right into that little table and have a cup of tea and a long chat.

In my humble little opinion – this gem beats out most of the professional designers out there!!

  4. I have to agree with Barb Duder – it is absolutely lovely and nicer than pretty much every professionally designed tiny home I’ve seen. Nicely done and very cozy. And no sign of an enormous fridge, which seems entirely inappropriate in a tiny home!
