Usually when I’m fantasizing about my tiny home, it MUST HAVE FACILITIES, but I’m sure that stumbling to the outhouse in the middle of the night in Hawaii is a lot more pleasant than currently 12 degree New York.

I am currently in transition from a one bedroom apartment to a ‘shared’ home with other single adults to save some money and hopefully within 2014 have my own vintage trailer! My personal space is a 12×12 bedroom with a couple of kitchen cabinets and a bathroom shelf. What does not go into my room, in the closet or under the bed has now found a home somewhere else. I’m determined to “downsize” to live life LARGER! You did an amazing job! I love the remodel and it is quiet inspiring.
I love this … great design. I live in my 50′ Spartan Executive Villa. I would have loved to see how they got yours to Hawaii.

Ours is gutted and waiting for a new trailer. Yours looks like it won’t be towed. I absolutely love what you have done with it. A truly beautiful, livable place. I would like to see the bathroom and kitchen. Love that you turned the end into a closet! We have a ’55 royal mansion that we had to totally gut and ended up with a trailer that literally fell apart. Ours has to be towable and keep the two of us and four poms from killing each other!

Mike, thank you! Inside the big black armoire is a microwave and fridge. Eventually the dresser next to it will have a sink in it, and the end closet will be the bathroom and the closet will be moved to the other end behind my bed. But for now, I don’t have it ready for plumbing. 🙂

Hey, Jennie..how did you find the weatherstripping for the windows? And doors? Where you able to reuse them? I’ve got a 40 ft Spartan that I’m gathering materials to remodel, but not gut out. I’ve got a few roof leaks to do 1st…someone that’s done this, please give me advice!
