  1. was enjoying the architecture and ideas of these images until I reached the bathroom. would never have expected a photo of person with their pants pulled down and chest exposed. would like to suggest blurring the image to keep this family friendly – my whole family (kids included) like to follow the tiny house movement.

  2. Hi Cynthia! That’s a cistern. Sort of like a water tower, yes (without the tower part.) See how it’s hooked in to catch the runoff from the covered raingutter? These are common in off-grid / dry climate (or both) sites.

  3. I really like the concept, but……………I don’t think having the bathroom IN the kitchen like that is a really bad idea. They really should have reversed the positions so the could put a wall between them. Not sanitary to have it THAT open. Otherwise, I would love to have something like this.

  4. Isn’t this the community that the homes don’t have a “kitchen” as there is a separate building that serves as the kitchen for all? I think I would put my coffee maker and drink frig further away from the toilet for sure but if this is the community I think it is, none of the homes have a kitchen.
