I LOVE, LOVE this design. The only thing I would have changed is the ladder getting to kitchen…I would have moved the door where u put ladder over to the side near the wall and I would have built a small set of stairs going up to kitchen and the stair steps would have storage in the steps. Drawers to pull out to put stuff in. That would (to me) be a better design. bc it will be hard toting food or drinks down stairs….. Just a thought.
Also u could have built a wider set of cabinets instead of 2 different ones. that u have on either side of ladder…. If u didnt want to build steps with drawers u could have made them open on one side and it could have been another bookcase. Or u could have done the floating stairs and still have something small under them for storage…..

I don’t think I like having to access the kitchen with a ladder. I appreciate seeing a new design but this isn’t practical at all. I would not want a loud refrigerator over my bedroom and the floor of the kitchen looks pretty thin.
Different indeed. Just not for me. Kitchens with ladder access seems a bit odd
